Hello, My name is Adrianne and I co-own The Garage Massage Therapy with my husband Cody. In 2012 I started taking clients in the back of our 2 car garage located just off of Newport Way in Issaquah. After a year my business was growing so fast I rented a little 1940’s house in the lot next door and began what then, was a terrifying next step. I began to bring on more therapists and soon Cody quit his day job and went to school for massage therapy, helping me with clients and the business. Never expecting to grow so fast we faced a lot of hurdles and had to quickly teach ourselves the ins and outs of running a small business. (spoiler alert, we figured it out). In 2018 we moved to our newest location on 5th and Holly in Issaquah. We have 7 treatment rooms, 14 therapists and are continuing to grow. I never imagined we would become this big or have so many people working for us but I feel so fortunate and grateful for everything we have. I truly believe what stands us apart from the rest is 4 things;
1. I stay involved with the business and I always will. I still take clients of my own, work at the front office and do not outsource to other companies so if you have a question about your bill, your service, or have any questions or concerns you can talk to me directly. I take a lot of pride in my business and work hard to give it that cozy small business feel even as we continue to grow.
2. I treat my employees like family and I am very picky about who gets to join our office. We want our therapists to stick around and we want therapists that you want to see again. I hire everyone myself and train them so they will meet my standards and yours.
3.We do not up-sell our clients. I want you to get the work you need and be able to afford the extras without the extra cost. We include everything at the same price so whether you get deep tissue or relaxation the price will not change. We also include heat packs, essential oils, cupping, bamboo therapy, hot stones and hot towels for free! We don’t try to sell you packages and we don’t have a ridiculous membership with a lot of fine print, in fact, we don’t have one at all. What we do have is an intro special of $55 for your first visit with select therapists so you can find the therapist that is the best fit for you without the full cost each time.
