We’re excited to share that Nisan Harel has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer!
Nisan is familiar to many, as his 17 years at Era Living have included community leadership as Executive Director and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Eli and Rebecca Almo, who started Era Living nearly 40 years ago, will continue to guide the company’s long-term vision. “For our residents and team members, Era Living’s retirement communities are more than a place to live,” says Nisan. “They’re places where people find security, joy, engagement, and meaningful connections.”➡️Read more in our blog here:

Our "Colors in Harmony" art exhibition runs through January 25 and includes "Cormorants" from Véronique Robigou.
"Iconic, coastal silhouette of the Salish Sea, the cormorant. Pacific Northwest scenery in walnut ink and dyer’s woad, both botanical pigments of my native southwestern France. The blue color extracted from the plant Isatis tinctoria has been used since ancient times. With madder (red) and weld (yellow) it was a dyeing staple throughout the Middle Ages in Europe and in England until indigo supplanted it in the sixteenth century." Come and see it for yourself!

Our current art exhibition, "Colors in Harmony," continues and includes the remarkable work "Play Time" from Jennifer Kwon. "One peaceful afternoon on a snowy coast by the sea, a mother polar bear watches over her cubs after a hearty feast of seals caught from a cracked ice hole. One cub stays close, gently licking snow from her arm, while the other playfully shapes a snowball nearby without a care. But the line between them is beginning to melt, and the frozen world around them quietly changes under the low Arctic sun."
