From the admission of the first resident seeking help many years ago today, our philosophy has always been and remains that living and rehabilitation must include caring for the mind, body and soul. ✨ Jewelry time is always a favorite at Avir at Itasca! 💎 Our residents had such a wonderful time creating colorful, personalized bracelets together. From picking out the beads to stringing each design, the activity was filled with laughter, focus, and plenty of creativity.

Lovingly referred to as Aunt Myrtle, she holds a very special place in our hearts—not only as our administrator Karen’s aunt, but as a true ray of sunshine in our community. 💛 Aunt Myrtle is always keeping everyone in line with her spirited personality while lending a helping hand to residents, employees, and visitors alike.
