Longview residents spent some time this morning transplanting the seed starts for the Longview Community Garden. We're sure to have more tomatoes, cucumber and peppers than our garden can hold so we'll be sharing them at our farmstand for residents and families to help themselves to.

We also had another crew outback at the garden doing the weeding to get the beds ready for planting.

We were proud to attend the James J. Whalen Symposium—a celebration of the very best of Ithaca College and its spirit of discovery.
The symposium showcased the collective curiosity that drives learning forward, and we were inspired to be part of a community so committed to knowledge, growth, and connection.

Residents came together this weekend to restore the Chuck Brodhead Garden in the patio home neighborhood at Longview. Many thanks to Dominick for sharing the original garden design and vision, Phyllis for pulling the community together and picking out the plants from The Plantsmen Nursery and Sue for capturing it all on film. 🌻🌞

As part of Longview's Wellness Series 2026, residents and prospective residents enjoyed the "Mind Over Body" movement presentation with Mitch Raymond, PT, this week.

His tailored program helps individuals achieve improvement through movement with techniques aimed at strengthening connection between mind and body. Mitch is also a CEEAA (Certified Expert in Exercise for the Aging Adult).

The Marketing & Sales team even got in on the class!
