You DID IT!! We raised over $52,000; DIPPED into the lake; had an awesome party... and we have you and our sponsors to thank!
We would like to thank everyone who helped make our 10th Annual Ithaca Chill Challenge a festive and rousing success on New Year's Day. We are delighted to have raised over $50,000! These funds will go directly to maintaining and improving Ithaca Community Recovery’s historic building at 518 W. Seneca St. as a place where anyone dealing with addiction of any type can come for support and fellowship.
Thank you to all our participants and all our donors; you can still find them on our website at ithacachillchallenge.org. These participants raised dollars from their community for their part in the polar plunge.
Thank you to our wonderful Sponsors: Ithaca Yacht Club, Beck Equipment, Cayuga Health - Cayuga Medical Center, Community Bank, N.A., CFCU Community Credit Union, Cornell Office of Community Relations, Dryden Mutual Insurance Company, Feirman Builders, Inc., The Guthrie Clinic, The Jack Engel Young Fund at the Community Foundation of Tompkins County, The Maguire Family of Dealerships and Maguire Foundation, Schickel Construction Co., Singlebrook Technology, The State Diner, Mattbuildswebsites.com, and Tam Warren of Warren Real Estate...
In addition, so many wonderful local businesses supported us with donations of prizes: The Heights Restaurant and H Bar, La Tourelle, Circus Culture, Kitchen Theatre Company, Cinemapolis, Odyssey Bookstore, Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance, Hazelnut Kitchen, Rasa Spa, Silo Food Truck, Mercato/Cent Dix, Monks On The Commons, Gola Osteria, 15 STEPS, Now Here Pinball, Red's Place, Brookton's Market, Gimme! Coffee, Wegmans. And our event would not be what it is, without the services of the New York State Police Dive Team, Bangs Ambulance, Ithaca Bakery, Rick's Rental World, B&W Supply, Brewer's septic and remarc solutions, who created and oversees our awesome website. We are so proud to partner with these local businesses to provide a safe space for our fellowship.
Time and again, our local businesses have come through when asked for their support. Let's support them back! Shop local! Go out to eat!
