Due to the State Disaster Emergency declared by Governor Kathy Hochul and hazardous winter weather conditions affecting our region, the Tompkins County administrator has declared a State of Emergency in Tompkins County, effective at 12:00 p.m. on January 25, 2026. Additionally, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office advises residents to avoid unneccessary travel due to dangerous road conditions. Tompkins County Whole Health Department's offices at 201 E. Green St. (downtown Ithaca) and 55 Brown Rd. (northeast Ithaca) will be closed Monday, 1/26/2026.
For clients of the Mental Health Clinic, clinic staff will be in touch to reschedule appointments. There will be no Open Access. PROS groups and sessions are also canceled for Monday, 1/26/26.
