Lennessa(E-RYT 500) has been a student and devotee of the yogic arts for over 25 years under the expert guidance of her esteemed teacher and spiritual mother, Indubala Bhardwaj - who resides and is still teaching in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lennessa became interested in yoga at young age while practicing meditation and learning to heal herself of chronic illness no MD could diagnose, nor treat. She has trained in multiple specialties including Ayurveda, swara yoga, therapeutic yoga technique, physical and psychic anatomy, pranayama, prenatal/ baby and me yoga, wildcrafting/foraging/ herbalism, Sanskrit, scripture, philosophy and living an authentic yoga lifestyle. Her teaching style holds reverence to tradition and anciency, yet is current and relevant.
Class with Lennessa is a perfect opportunity create and initiate the Yoga practice you've been considering in a very safe and competent environment, or refine and build your current practice by receiving special attention to asana technique and application of tristhana - the holy/sacred trinity of breath, bandhas and drishti that sets this method apart from many modern yoga practices and classes. Class contains presence and honour for the Ashtanga Yoga method, as well as each individual in the practice room. She is capable of teaching all levels simultaneously, meeting each practitioner where they are, while offering something for everyone to grow on.
Lennessa offers deep pranams to all teachers, past, present, and future... she acknowledges her class participants, her own body and the lands, plants, skies and waters as her teachers as well as the many wonderful instructors
