She studied Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine with Dr. Jr. Worsley and the faculty at the Worsley institute of Classical Acupuncture in Florida and the College of Traditional Acupuncture in the UK, receiving a Licensure, Advanced Licenciate, and a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is Certified by NACCOM, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and she has held an acupuncture License in the State of NY. In addition she currently holds a license in the state of PA. Ann has studied Herbal Medicine, both Eastern and Western over the past 25 years She continues her studies with well respected teachers in the profession. Ann has also practiced in integrative health centers working collaboratively with western medical doctors, psychologists and physical therapists. Additionally Ann also holds a BA degree in psychology, and an MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. Her particular interest has been in contemplative and somatic psychology. One of her specialties is working with people challenged by trauma and post traumatic stress, as well as anxiety and depression. Ann brings to her practice as an acupuncturist her many year of experience working in the field of Oriental Medicine. Additionally, Ann is a long time meditation practitioner and has spent the last 34 years investigating and studying different somatic disciplines. She has studied Iyenger yoga, Medical Qi Gong, she has completed the "Trager Psychophysical Integration and Mentastics movement education program", the work of Milton Trager. She has also studied Craniosacral Therapy with the Milne Institute and is a student of "Continuum Movement", the work of Emilie Conrad.
