MI Choice provides Medicaid long-term care services in participants’ homes and communities, which is where 88% of older adults want to age, if possible—not in an institution.

Did you know? Caring for someone at home through the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver costs less than half of nursing home care. Yet, home-based care provides the same level of support.

It’s smart for taxpayers, and it’s what people want: care at home.

Protecting choice is protecting fiscal responsibility.

In-home care, home-delivered meals, caregiver support, and transportation all work together. When one piece is underfunded, the whole system feels it — and older adults end up on waiting lists or in higher-cost settings.
