Our two certified mediators to provide comprehensive mediation services (in person and by Zoom) state-wide! Kathryn attended Central Michigan University and graduated with a B.S., majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Legal Studies. After graduating from CMU, Kathryn attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated cm laude with a concentration in Litigation. While at Cooley, Kathryn was awarded multiple certificates of merit for her academic performance. Kathryn focuses her practice on Criminal Defense and Family Law. Bolinger is knowledgeable in all areas of divorce, property settlement, and alimony. Bolinger also handles all issues relating to child custody, parenting time, child support, adoptions, and grandparent's rights, and other areas of Family Law. Having been through a divorce and custody issues herself, Kathryn understands the confusion, fear and anxiety that come with facing a divorce or custody issue. Kathryn's own life experiences allow her to bring a unique perspective that drives her to achieve the best possible results for her clients. In addition, Kathryn has obtained positive results in felony and misdemeanor cases involving Drug charges, DUI/OWI, Criminal Sexual Conduct, Assault, Domestic Violence, Retail Fraud, Juvenile Crimes and other crimes.

It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our beloved legal secretary, Brenda. She was the heart of our office, keeping everything running smoothly with grace, patience, and kindness. More than a colleague, she was family to us, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of Brenda and to allow our team to attend her funeral services, our office will be closed on Monday, September 8, 2025. We appreciate your understanding as we take this time to remember and celebrate the remarkable life of someone so dear to us.

It's that time of year again! In the past, I have hosted a Back To School giveaway, where I purchase supplies for individuals to come pick up to fill the gaps in what they need to get ready to go back to school. We've been able to help a LOT of families!

This year, I'd like to do something different! If you're able to help Gratiot Isabella United way with their "Stuff the Bus" campaign, I'll match your contribution!

That means for every $100 donated (which sponsors 1 of the 516 total elementary classrooms in the RESD), I'll donate $100 of my own so we can help even more kiddos and their teachers get off to the right start! If you can only donate $1, that's ok! I'll match it!
