While I usually use Roman Chammomile in my acupuncture practice for muscle pain, sciatica and nueralgia, it is a beautiful oil that has been used historically for many purposes.

1. Anti-inflammatory
2. Anti-infectious
3. Antiparasitic
4. Antispasmodic
5. Calming and Relaxing

It also helps neutralize allergies and clean the blood, soothe irritating skin rashes and dermatitis, and is mild enoiugh to be used on children to soothe stomach aches and tootheaches.

Remember to always dilute pure essential oils in a carrier oil and test on a small area of skin to make sure you don’t have an adverse reaction. I also recommened never ingesting essential oils wherther they are diluted or not.

Helichrysum oil on Conception Vessel 17, otherwise known as the “Front Mu” of the Pericardium Channel in Chinese Medicine is a powerful application for calming stress and reducing anxiety and nervousness.

It supports emotional well-being and heart health and is often used for its calming and grounding effects, which could help with emotional balance and relaxation.

While most essential oils should be diluted in a carrier oil before applied directly to the skin, Helichrysum oil is considered rather gentle and unless you have severe skin sensitivties, you can apply 1 drop directly to the skin.
