We’re proud to highlight the impact our team is making in improving heart health in our community ❤️

On Friday, March 27th, we hosted a cardiovascular disease screening clinic at the Tishomingo County Courthouse, led by:

Rachel — Pharmacy Technician and Certified Community Health Worker
Amber — Registered Nurse and Pharmacy Technician

Through their clinical training and dedication, patients received:
• Stroke risk assessments
• Point-of-care ECG testing

This event is part of a larger initiative, with Iuka Discount Drugs serving as one of just 27 pharmacies across the southeastern United States participating in a cardiovascular disease screening program focused on rural communities.

To date, we’ve screened over 350 patients for cardiovascular risk factors. We’re proud of our entire pharmacy team for leading meaningful, accessible care that makes a real difference in our community.

As of last night, Iuka Discount Drugs remains without power. We know crews are working tirelessly to restore power across our community, and we sincerely appreciate the efforts of TCEPA and all utility workers.
