Starting January 1, 2026, CVS Caremark will take over as the pharmacy benefits manager for the State Health Plan (PEBA).

💡 Important Note: Even though your new card will say CVS Caremark, you are NOT required to use a CVS Pharmacy. You can still choose to fill your prescriptions right here at Iva Drug Store—same copays, less wait time and friendly service!

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN OPENING

Pharmacy Technician
Iva Drug Store – Iva, SC
Iva Drug Store is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician. Responsibilities include assisting the Pharmacist in all areas of prescription filling, inventory management, ordering of prescription and over-the-counter medications, labeling, stocking daily orders, and med sync program.

We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy. We have been serving our community since 1912 and have developed trusted relationships with our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to quickly build rapport with our patients and possess a keen attention to detail.

We are open Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm. We rotate the Saturday shift between all technicians. We are closed on all major holidays and Sundays.
We offer a competitive salary package including paid holidays, paid vacation, performance bonus opportunity, and 401K eligibility (after one year of service).

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) License highly preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience required.

We are delighted to congratulate Lance and Pam on their outstanding accomplishments. Lance, our accomplished pharmacist and owner, received the 2025 Academy of Independent Pharmacy Independent Pharmacist of the Year award at Georgia's annual pharmacy convention two weeks ago. Pam, who has provided invaluable support at Iva Drug over the past few years, was honored with the esteemed Ralph Wilkie Distinguished Lifetime Service Award at SC's annual pharmacy convention this past weekend. Both Lance and Pam are truly deserving of these distinguished awards, recognizing their exceptional contributions to pharmacy.
