The Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs (UDVMA), in partnership with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, invites you to a FREE Mission Ready: Military, Veteran & Family Wellness Fair! On Saturday, February 21st from 10am - 2pm, join us at the Gardner Student Center, (Utah Tech) to access resources for employment, education, finances, family support, health & wellness, recreation,and all your military connected benefits questions. Enjoy a fun-filled event with food trucks, door prizes and connectedness for the whole family. We can't wait to see you there!

We love our Veterans! Blessed everyday to be able to take care of our hero’s every day!

This is Korean War veteran Bob Lester, a longtime resident of St. George now at the Southern Utah Veterans Home. At this time 75 years ago, this Marine faced a relentless enemy and brutal cold during the Battle of Chosin Reservoir.

We will be telling his story in the coming weeks.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing staff and community, we were able to donate 7 full barrels of food to the Utah Food Bank this year.

💜 Thank You! 💜

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out last Thursday for the Alzheimer’s Walk and to everyone who purchased a T-shirt — your support means the world to me.

Thanks to all of you, through T-shirt sales and raffle tickets, we raised an incredible $3,713 for the Alzheimer’s Association! 🙌

I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you. You’ve shown what an amazing, supportive team we have — and together, we’re making a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s. 💪💜

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart! 💜

The parking lot and grounds of the Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins were filled with pinwheel-toting families who were there for a purpose.
