As a comprehensive stroke center, at the state's only Level 1 Trauma Center, UMMC provides cutting-edge treatment, rapid response, & specialized rehabilitation. Drs. Gangadhara and Singla recently met with Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith to advocate on behalf of our patients.

Discussions centered around easing the burden of prior authorization and supporting legislation to make telemedicine a permanent option for patient care.
