What an incredible day at our 5th Annual Neurology Symposium!

We were honored to welcome such a great group of attendees for a day filled with education, collaboration, networking, and discussion surrounding the latest advancements in the field of Neurology.

A special thank you to our outstanding guest speakers for sharing their knowledge & expertise— Drs. Benbadis, Duke, Mahadeen, Natteru, and Reed. We are also grateful for the leadership and support of our Department Chair, Dr. Ingram!

Thank you as well to all of our exhibitors for helping make this event possible. We truly appreciate all who attended and supported this special event!

The Evers Society at UMMC— known as the “Departmental Olympics”— recognizes the faculty, residents, and courses that make the biggest impact on medical students each year.

Neurology had an incredible showing, sweeping all 4 M4 awards:

• M4 All Star Resident: Dr. Pooja Bhandari
• M4 Resident of the Year: Dr. Qasim Bhatti
• M4 All Star Attending: Dr. Shreyas Gangadhara(not pictured)
• M4 Attending of the Year: Dr. Kunal Bhatia

Our M2 course, Neurological Sciences, was also named Course of the Year, with Dr. Timothy Dasinger and Dr. Kristen Alston recognized as course directors.
