New year. New goals.

One of mine for 2026 is simple: help more people feel better.

Last week I saw a patient for the first time who had been dealing with headaches for weeks. After that first treatment, they haven’t had a headache since.

That’s the kind of reminder I like starting a new year with. Sometimes the body just needs the right kind of hands and a plan.

If headaches, neck tension, or stress have been tagging along into the new year, it might be time to address the root of it.

Here’s to fewer headaches and better days ahead.

It’s another New Year’s Day!

Is there somthing you want to accomplish this year? Self improvement. Health. Hobby. Business. Finances. Family. Write it down.

There may just be something to this whole “muscle memory” thing we’ve all heard about.

The best way to solidify a goal in your mind is to write it down. There’s something about physically writing it down that sticks in the mind and mentally helps to move you in that direction.

Let’s get the year started off right by reminding your muscles what they’re supposed to be doing for you.

Sometimes, the softer more gentle techniques are the most effective. Deep tissue or even Swedish massage techniques may not be what will give the most relief.

Be openminded and willing to try different techiques and modalities than you might be used to. It may lead to the best outcomes.

Use good body mechanics. Take your time. Dress warm. And have a little fun while you’re at it! ⛄️

Life is busy. Especially this time of year with the holidays packed closely together. We often put things for ourselves on the backburner.

Going up stairs can be a challenge. Case in point, at tonight’s middle school and high school choir winter concert. ❄️ + 🎶 There are plenty of stairs to remind you that your sciatica has been acting up and your back and neck reminding you about your posture.
