It snowed yesterday, and now that the cold is settling in, most of us are spending way more time indoors. That usually means more sitting, more couches, more screens, and way less movement than our bodies are used to.
Cold weather tightens muscles on its own — then add hours of sitting inside, and it’s no surprise people start feeling more neck tension, low back stiffness, shoulder aches, and those annoying headaches that show up out of nowhere.
If you’re noticing that your muscles feel tighter lately, try adding a few small movement breaks throughout your day. Even 1–2 minutes of gentle stretching or standing up to move around can make a big difference. Your body loves circulation, even when the weather outside isn’t exactly inviting.
Stay warm out there.
