We proudly attended the Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc. community health event at Sawmill Square Mall in Laurel.

We were honored to connect with attendees, share helpful resources, provide information about Molina services and support community members as they learned more about their health and wellness options.

Events like this are important because they bring valuable health information and resources directly to the community. We are always grateful for opportunities to meet people where they are, answer questions, and help connect individuals and families to the care and support they may need.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to Friends of Children of Mississippi, Inc. for hosting this impactful event.

We’re bringing care closer to YOU on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

A few weeks ago, we proudly celebrated the grand opening of the Molina Healthcare Pop-up Help Center located at Faith Missionary Baptist Church - Gulfport. This exciting event marked another step in our commitment to bringing more services, support and resources directly into the communities we serve.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with community members and help make health care more accessible for individuals and families across the Gulf Coast.

Everyone experiences stress – whether it's running late, paying bills or staying on top of chores. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed at time. And while it might seem like stress only happens in your head, it can affect your body in many ways, especially if you’re dealing with chronic stress (long-term stress).

Over time, this can lead to a greater risk of heart disease, digestive problems, poor sleep, a weakened immune system and other health conditions.

The good news? There are simple ways to manage stress. Talking with your doctor or a therapist can help, and practicing relaxation techniques can make a big difference. Try this box breathing exercise and take a moment to reset.

🍊 Happy Vitamin C Day! 🍊

Did you know? Vitamin C does more than support your immune system — it also helps your body better absorb iron, which is key for keeping your energy up and your body strong.

Try pairing iron-rich foods like spinach, beans or lean meats with vitamin C-rich veggies like bell peppers and broccoli. Add a squeeze of lemon to your meal for an extra boost! These simple combos can help your body get the most out of the nutrients you eat.

Small changes can make a big impact on your health — one meal at a time.

At Molina Healthcare, we’re proud to stand with the autism community in promoting understanding and acceptance – not just during Autism Awareness Month, but always.

Autism is a developmental disorder that affects the way people communicate, learn, socialize and behave. It’s not a limitation; it's a unique perspective that enriches our world.

Let’s celebrate the unique perspectives, talents and strengths of individuals on the autism spectrum and foster a more inclusive society.

Kidney stones are more common than you might think — and they can be very painful. The good news? Simple habits can help lower your risk.

💧 Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. You can also include citrus drinks like lemon or orange water, which may help prevent stones.

🥗 Eat a balanced diet: Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. Limit salt, sugary drinks and highly processed foods, which can increase your risk.

If you experience symptoms like severe back or side pain, nausea, or blood in your urine, talk to your doctor.

Taking care of your kidneys is an important part of your overall health.
