I work for JPS Child Nutrition because children are my passion. I love to cook and encourage kids to keep moving forward, no matter how hard their day may be. I believe that God can make things better through every obstacle. I encouraged my scholars to have a blessed day, and to never give up.

Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as unto the Lord.”

I live by this verse each day as I proudly serve the scholars of Jackson Public Schools. Since 2011, I have had the opportunity to support students through various leadership roles, including managing Bailey Magnet School and Chastain Middle School. I currently serve as the Child Nutrition Manager at Blackburn Laboratory Middle School, where I remain committed to ensuring students receive nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

I am passionate about supporting student success by ensuring nutritious meals are served in a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment. It is truly an honor to support students, staff, and families each day through my role in child nutrition.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Jackson Public Schools community and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact.
