When I first saw Moana years ago, I thought this was the most powerfull scene. “This is not who you are… YOU know who you are”

We are not our defense mechanisms. Those were created in a fight or flight response to keep us safe in a moment. And they can be effective for a time, but long term they can also be destructive to even ones self.

My absolute favorite part of my job is helping people rediscover their heart thus empowering their true self. Seeing and knowing who you are actually creates more safety than any defense mechanism.
