Join 🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veteran – Dean Houston This Veterans Day, we’re proud to recognize Dean for his incredible service in the U.S. Navy. He served for nearly 9 years as an Airwarfare Systems Operator and Rescue Swimmer with the HS-17 helicopter squadron, based in Jacksonville, FL.

Dean deployed on both t he USS Coral Sea and the USS Abraham Lincoln, performing anti-submarine warfare and search and rescue missions.

Afterward, he transferred to Pensacola, FL, to serve as an instructor at the Navy’s Aviation Rescue Swimmer School, training the next generation of rescue swimmers.

Thank you, Dean, for your dedication, bravery, and continued commitment to service. We’re honored to have you on our team!

The Sports Plus South/Henderson clinical staff are assisting these two awesome athletic trainers on the wet sidelines tonight, Georgia Mitchell, ATC (SSHS) and Randa Hart, ATC (CCHS). These programs are very fortunate to have these amazing athletic trainers looking after their athletes!!!
