April Showers bring May Flowers,💐 but bad decisions bring life ending collisions ❌. As we enter the month of May, let’s reflect on what April brought us the joy of experiencing. We partnered with Metro Jackson Community Prevention Coalition & Jackson State Univiersity to provide a “Prom Promise” to positively support students when it comes to the magical night of Prom 👗👔 We want students to be safe & responsible so they can all return on Monday 🥳. We also had the opportunity to share a Mocktail event with some young scholars at Operation Shoestring to increase knowledge of alcohol awareness & safety. The students definitely wanted another round after they were done 😂🍹. Overall, this month has been full of enriching moments & looking forward to Mental Health Awareness Month ! ✅

About Us ...

Alcohol Services Center, Inc. (ASC) Was organized in 1971 under a grant from the Office of Economic Opportunity. In June, 1973 the agency became affiliated with the Jackson Council on Alcoholism as their grantee. The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism began funding the program in March 1973 until September 1981. The Mississippi Department of Mental Health Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse began funding in 1975.

Alcohol Services Center, Inc. (ASC) purpose is to reduce the incidences of substance abuse problems through outpatient substance abuse therapy and prevention services to individuals, groups and organization in Hinds County and surrounding areas.
