Yesterday, we hosted a Bright Start leadership committee meeting with the aim of revamping this program so we can further serve our early childhood community. Seeing so many leaders around this table gave us full hearts and made us even more excited for West TN's future. 💫

This is a great opportunity to serve our West TN community!

We invite the women in our community to partner us to help collect diapers for the Women United: Diaper Drive during the month of Sep. What we need are newborn-size 7 diapers and 2T-5T pull-ups. Everything collected during the drive will serve to benefit The Diaper Project at the Mission Abbey.

Donation drop-off locations include the The Bank of Jackson, First Citizens National Bank, Jackson Energy Authority, Madison County, TN - Government, and our office at North Parkway. For more info, contact kchambers@unitedway.tn.org.

Join us for a one-hour parent focus group on July 11th at 6pm via Zoom. We want to hear about your experiences and challenges in the TN early childhood system. Your voice matters, and we want to make sure it's heard! Plus, everyone who participates will receive a $25 e-gift card (Amazon or Walmart) as a thank you. 🎁

Tennesseans for Quality Early Education (TQEE) is working on the Plan for TN Tomorrow, a comprehensive plan to strengthen our state's early childhood system. United Way of West TN is hosting this focus group to gather your stories and ensure the recommendations truly reflect your experiences.

Once the plan is developed, TQEE will partner with key stakeholders to create a phased, multi-year advocacy and implementation strategy.

If you're looking for a service opportunity, The Diaper Project is a simple way to do just that. You can help West TN families who struggle to afford clean diapers for their children by donating online or dropping off packets of diapers in person.

Help All Saints Anglican Church sustain The Diaper Project - an initiative that will assist families in West TN struggling to afford clean diapers for their children.
