Center for Women is FINALLY moving to its new location this week! We will be closed Monday, March 29th, through Friday, April 2nd. We will reopen in our new facility on Monday, April 5th, and can't wait to see you there!
This Monday morning we want to encourage you to find a “joyful moment” in your day. Something simple to something big that your heart can grab, wrap around and be encouraged by! Start out this week with a little bit more joy in your heart.
What would you like to see happen in your life in 2021?
Embrace the pause.
It seems like Thanksgiving wasn’t too long ago and we are back at the Holidays again. There are so many voices pulling us in all different directions and we have a check list on both sides of the paper. We are given 24 hours a day and in that time we need to make sure we are embracing the pause. The pause is a moment to stop what we are doing and breathe, to think about the good things that are in our lives and be encouraged in what we’re doing.
How do you embrace your pause? What do you do to take that moment to take care of you?
Life can have rough moments, forks in the road that cause us make decisions big and small. 2020 has been a rough year but the fact that you’re reading this means you have over come so much already, celebrate that. Let it be what you use to know you can tackle whatever lies ahead.
We are here for you too!
Happy Thanksgiving from our hearts to yours! What are you thankful for?
It's easy to feel discouraged by our struggles. When we remember why we are thankful we see where we can be encouraged. .
We know that we need to be kind to each other, but how often are we told to be kind to ourselves? Sometimes we are hardest on ourselves. We wrestle with the should have, could have and would haves. We have moments that we celebrate and moments we wish we could change. However, those moments don't define who we are. We are loved and cherished.
We have to remember to be kind to ourselves, show ourselves grace and cast out the words and thoughts that cause us to feel bad about ourselves.
Tell yourself that it's okay that tomorrow is a new day.
Tell yourself that you're not perfect but you're worth it.
Tell yourself that each new day is a new opportunity.
That you are wanted and loved, never letting people tell you the words "you can't".
You can achieve dreams, you can work hard, you can enjoy life, you can enjoy your friends and family, you can be GREAT at what you do.
Be kind to others. Be kind to yourself.
