With temperatures climbing into the 90s this week, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center will be open for anyone who needs a cool place to get out of the heat.
Residents are welcome to "chill out" at the MLK Center during regular program hours, which are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center is located at 1107 Adrian St.
The Boos Center will not be open as a cooling center due to ongoing construction.
