Mississippi Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

This is the Mississippi state affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. They are the most reliable source of Nutrition Education available.

Members of the Mississippi Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics are dedicated professionals who volunteer their time and talents to improve the nutritional status of their clients and the public. MS-AND members are trained to deliver nutrition information in a variety of settings and practice in every area of our state. MS-AND is a state Affiliate Association of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic

s, which has 70,000 members nationally and throughout the world. We have members in more than 20 countries overseas. Our membership is comprised of Registered Dietitians/Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, the Registered Dietetic Technicians, and students of nutrition and food service. This site was designed to share our expertise in the field of nutrition with our members and the public. We hope to help the public find the nutrition information they are seeking whether it is from a Registered Dietitian in person or a reliable Web Site linked through this one. Whenever you think of the word nutrition, think of the Registered Dietitian and the Mississippi Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as your best source of knowledge and information.

MS-AND Gulf Coast Region had a great in-person meeting at Singing River-Pascagoula with guest speaker Lydia West who spoke about “Legislative Issues Affecting our Profession in Mississippi”. Thank you MS-AND Gulf Coast coordinators Ginger Carney and Holden Adkins for organizing this meeting as well as Eva King, Singing River-Pascagoula and Morrison for hosting this meeting!
