🐾💙 Shoutout to JPD Sgt. Insalaco! 💙🐾

We have to give a big thank you to Jackson Police Department Sgt. Insalaco for bravely volunteering to be Franklin’s official chew toy during a recent photo op! 😄

Franklin clearly took his role very seriously, and Sgt. Insalaco was a great sport about it. That’s the kind of community partnership (and good humor!) we love to see.

The best part? 🐶✨ Franklin was adopted over the weekend!

We couldn’t let this moment go unshared. Thank you to Sgt. Insalaco for stepping up, and congratulations to Franklin and his new family! ❤️🏡

Tiny paws need big hearts! Kitten season is about to kick up, and we’re searching for compassionate foster families ready to open their homes to kittens for a short-term stay of 2–6 weeks, depending on their age.

Fostering is a lifesaving role and it won’t cost you a thing except your time and love.

• Food, formula if needed, and supplies
• Litter and bedding
• All medical care and vet expenses
• Guidance and support every step of the way

🏡 You provide:
• A safe, indoor space for kittens to stay temporarily
• Daily care and attention

For years, Marge wandered the Old Hickory Blvd area, outsmarting every attempt to trap or catch her. This clever 7 year old German Shepherd mix survived on her own, wary of people and trusting no one. That is, until one patient and kind resident slowly earned her trust.

And one day she walked inside. 💛

That was the moment Marge discovered something life changing. Humans are not so bad after all.

Now this resilient girl has blossomed into a sweet companion who is learning what love, comfort, and safety truly feel like. After spending years fending for herself, she is finally ready to find what she has never had before. A real family.

Meet Danodo, our outrageously handsome Malinois mix, pictured with Deputy Bays, who showed up, rolled up his sleeves, and effortlessly matched Danodo’s eye candy, main-character energy. Strong builds, calm confidence, and that “good looking enough to be intimidating, but actually a cupcake when I want to be” vibe — both of these guys will make you do a double take… and then immediately feel safe.

Danodo is hot AND well-behaved, which frankly feels excessive. He walks immaculately on leash, loves humans of all sizes, and is fantastic with other dogs. He might come in a little strong at playtime (confidence baby!), but he’s ultimately submissive, respectful, and eager to please. With structure and leadership, the kind Deputy Bays clearly understands, Danodo will settle into just about any pack like he’s been there forever.

Is he house-broken? No.
