Pain Specialist Center The Pain Specialist Center is led by board certified anesthesiologist Dr. Roy Schmidt. Some diseases produce chronic pain through an abnormal nerve loop.

These may respond to interruption of nerve pathways with interventional pain therapies and/or medications, which PSC provides. Working in conjunction with the Tennessee Hyperbaric Center, Pain Specialist Staff members provide both interventional pain modalities and hyperbaric oxygen medicine — offering patients alternatives that will best suit them.
