If it feels like everyone you know has a birthday this month, you're not imagining it.

September 9 is the most common birthday in the U.S. In fact, nine of the top ten birthdays fall between the 9th and the 20th. That’s no coincidence. Many babies are conceived during the holiday season, with September birthdays arriving right on time about 40 weeks later.

Pictured here is baby Lucas, born in early 2024 to proud parents Paige and Caleb Stevens. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was delivered by Dr. Erica Ory. We can all agree he’s absolutely precious.

When was your last well-woman exam?

Annual checkups are more than a box to check. They’re a chance to spot small changes before they become bigger issues. For women in their 40s and beyond, that may include conversations about hormone shifts, mammograms, bone health, pelvic floor function, or screening timelines.

Preventive care gives you a clearer picture of what’s normal for your body. It also helps identify what might need more attention. If it’s been over a year, we encourage you to get back on the calendar this fall.
