Taylor Medical Center was honored to serve as a vendor at the Black Family Wellness Expo hosted by the Jackson (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated this past Saturday. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with families in our community and share valuable health information that supports healthier lives.

Events like this remind us how powerful community partnerships can be in promoting wellness, prevention, and education. We enjoyed connecting with attendees, discussing ways to maintain healthy lifestyles, and supporting an initiative that prioritizes the well-being of our families.

I’m so thankful I am truly thankful and honored to have been awarded the prestigious Diamond Award from the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber at the 25th Jewel Awards last night. 💎

This award, presented to businesses with 6–10 years in existence, is a meaningful milestone for me and a reflection of faith, perseverance, community support, and a commitment to excellence. I am grateful to the Chamber for this recognition and to everyone in our Jackson community who has supported, trusted, and encouraged me along this journey.

Today, I’m honored to represent Taylor Medical Center at the Jackson Housing Authority Health Fair. 💚🏥

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and I’m committed to educating our community about the importance of screening for diabetes and knowing your numbers. I’m sharing valuable information on:

🩺 Checking your blood sugars
💊 Taking your medications correctly
🏃🏽‍♀️ Staying active and incorporating exercise
🥗 Making healthy food choices

I also have helpful literature available on the importance of receiving your COVID-19 vaccination.
