The birthplace of codependency is where parents who lack self-awareness to establish and maintain healthy boundaries with their children, sometimes unknowingly train their children to become barometers of their parents’ mood. Understanding what pleases or displeases their parents, these children learn that peace or the avoidance of negativity happens through continual sacrifices of the child, a practice the child perfects though adulthood.

Our resilience in surviving trauma can sometimes unknowingly lead to creating trauma for others. Let’s educate ourselves, heal, and disrupt the unhealthy generational patterns we may not even recognize are present.

Truly a sad and tragic experience for this family, and the children having to call the police as their mother bled out. No man (person) is worth sacrificing your peace of mind, your children’s mental health, and your life.

TRULY HORRIFIC: A woman was found stabbed to death and deputies said it was one of her children who called 911. This happened Wednesday night in Wilson County, TN. Deputies tell News 2 the home has a history of domestic violence. Once the suspect (father) is released from the hospital, he will be taken to jail. https://tinyurl.com/p6k5kjad
