Open Arms Healthcare Center addresses health disparities, treats chronic diseases among populations in Mississippi, and offers social services.

Our mission is to provide affordable, innovative, and holistic healthcare services – Primary, Social, and Mental Health – to underserved, underinsured, and underrepresented populations in Mississippi, with emphasis on the Le***an, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Q***r, and Intersex (LGBTQI) communities. The vision of Open Arms is to achieve health equity and restore life expectancy to maximum attainable levels among aforementioned populations in Mississippi with sound primary healthcare and research.

This year’s theme, Improving Access to Prevention and Care for Health Equity, highlights the importance of advancing prevention, testing, and care in Black communities—no matter the location, no matter the circumstance.
