🎉 What a great day supporting an even greater cause! ⛳️

Almost the entire SSA Department was on hand today to volunteer their time at the annual JVAC Golf Scramble! 💪🏽💚 JVAC is an incredible nonprofit organization that goes above and beyond to support people with disabilities—filling in the gaps when insurance or traditional funding sources fall short.

They also make “Adult Services Day” at the Ohio Hill Country Festival possible and are generous donors to our DD Awareness Event every year. 🙌

A HUGE thank you to all the members of the JVAC Board for their continued commitment to our community—and a special shoutout to John Pellitier for organizing this amazing fundraiser each year! 👏👏👏

💈 Yesterday’s sensory-friendly appointments truly meant a lot to me. It was an honor to create a calm, comfortable space for clients who often struggle in typical haircut environments — and seeing them leave feeling good made it all worth it.

Because of how well it went, I’m opening up more sensory appointments on Sunday, July 20th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What’s a sensory-friendly appointment?
It’s a quieter, more intentional haircut experience designed for kids and adults with autism, anxiety, or sensory sensitivities.
✔️ Low-stimulation setting (quiet clippers, soft lighting, no music unless requested)
✔️ Extra time and patience — everything happens at your pace
✔️ Fidget toys and comfort tools available
✔️ A no-pressure, understanding environment
