Social media and online presence has been lacking here for a while, but that does not mean that work has not been taking place behind the scenes!
While I focus on learning and sharing with a private practice corporation how current trends and evidence based practices can help patients in a mental health setting, I am often willing to share tidbits of encouragement and truth to any who may follow along on this page.

As a business model, I am often drawn to titles of “Begin Again” (of course!) With this mantra of approach to each new day, with eyes of faith, a heart to share and serve others, and a positive outlook in moving forward, I was thrilled to see this book by Max Lucado. I am excited to embrace his words of truth to help set my mind in the right direction so that, in turn, the ripple effect can move outward to others.

Brave Girl, this is your moment. January invites us to stand tall, take a deep breath, and begin again. It’s not about perfection—it’s about courage. The courage to rise after we’ve fallen. The courage to dream after we’ve doubted. The courage to turn the page and write a new story, one filled with resilience, purpose, and power.

Let this be the season you embrace your strength, your voice, your fire. The world needs more women who dare to start over and shine brighter than before.

As I look out at these beehives and the bees flying, I am thankful.
People often ask me why I am a beekeeper. Part of the story I always tell them is this:
When I was a young girl, one of my best friends, Brandi Walters, her dad kept honeybees. I vividly remember him bringing in a jar with beautiful honeycomb filled with sweet, delicious honey 🍯. He would give us some and we would chew the wax and eat up all that yummy goodness.
I thought that was so “cool”. It’s part of my story on why I always wanted to be a beekeeper.
Her dad, Jack, died the night before last. We are heartbroken. But his legacy in part lives on in my life, in my story.
So, to all the Wrinkle clan, Rick Wrinkle, Tisha Wrinkle Kelso, and others, your dad (uncle) inspired me in my life.
“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones” -Proverbs 16:24.

So proud of this crew at Lauderdale County Commission on Aging! They just completed the Active Living Every Day program, a 12 week educational evidence based program, that encourages activity in daily life. I am so proud of the accomplishments they have made during our time together 💕🤩

Getting our first seeds planted in the greenhouse!
We are trying to establish an apothecary garden, beginning with chicory and yarrow, echinacea, and calendula. Hoping to get some sprouts 🌱 in a few short weeks.
We will then transplant along with direct sow some feverfew, california poppy, chamomile and evening primrose.
All for bee-friendly pollinator flowers; can also use for tinctures, salves and specialty teas.
Lots of opportunities for learning and growing. Excited to see what springs up in the near future! ☀️
