BEFORE & AFTER: our second mobile clinic, affectionately called "Andy," got a little facelift! We loved the old wrap design, but it was showing a lot of wear, so it was time to rewrap it. Now it matches our fourth bus! We are beyond thankful for the volunteers at Northbrook Church for scraping off the old wrap for us. They worked for hours and came back another day to finish!

This morning, the Birth Choice Adoption Agency was honored to host this month's meeting of the Foster Friendly Coalition of West TN!

Did you know that May is recognized as National Foster Care Awareness Month? It is a time to raise awareness about the needs of children and youth in foster care, recognize foster and kinship families, and encourage community support and involvement.

The Foster Friendly Coalition of West Tennessee is a collaborative group of faith leaders, state and private child placing agencies, nonprofits, foster parents and individuals committed to making a collective impact on foster care in West Tennessee. We are particularly focused on building a Foster Friendly Madison County at this time, collaborating on building networks of support for foster families through engagement with businesses, faith communities, and local government. Madison County alone has over 87 foster and kinship homes. It takes all of us working together to best serve our kids and families!

If you have been following the news, you know that the Supreme Court announced a tragic decision yesterday. They ruled that the dangerous abortion pills can continue to be dispensed through the mail, putting thousands, if not millions, of women and preborn babies at significant risk.

BUT...we know that God is still in control. He knows the issues our nation is facing, and He knows the solution. Let us pray!

On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision allowing the abortion pill to continue to be dispensed through the mail as a Louisiana lawsuit proceeds.

Charis’* Christian family was against abortion, and Charis thought she was too, until she found herself pregnant. She was young and pursuing an education – her whole life was ahead of her. When she told her parents about the pregnancy, her dad encouraged her to go to Birth Choice. She called, and our receptionist scheduled an appointment for 40 minutes later.

After talking with our advocate and seeing her baby’s heartbeat on ultrasound, Charis chose life! Her advocate prayed with her and encouraged her to read the gospels to answer some of her questions about God. Please pray for Charis as she wrestles with these questions and God’s purpose for her life!

Thank YOU for your prayers for our clients, our volunteers and staff, and this ministry. As you can see, you aren't just helping save babies, you are helping women embrace God's word and learn to follow Him.

This sweet story is from Brent Lambert, Birth Choice Founder and CEO:

Today I experienced one of those moments that reminds us why the work of Birth Choice matters so deeply.

While running an errand at a local establishment, the young lady assisting me noticed the Birth Choice logo on my shirt. Her face immediately lit up as she shared that she had once come to Birth Choice during a very difficult season in her life when she was pregnant. She spoke so warmly about the client advocate who walked alongside her with kindness, compassion, and support. She told me how much that advocate had meant to her and how she would love to bring her child by someday to meet her again.

She couldn’t remember the advocate’s name, so I told her I would find out. I called the office right there and asked them to look through the records. When I shared the advocate’s name with her, she absolutely beamed with joy. I let her know I would have the advocate contact her so they could reconnect.

Later, after returning to the office, I looked through her file from several years ago. What I read told the story of a young woman facing heartbreaking circumstances, pain, and uncertainty. At the time she first came to us, she was planning to abort. But through support, encouragement, and love, she chose life for her child.

Today, that child is one of the greatest joys and proudest parts of her life.

The confident, joyful young woman I met today hardly resembled the frightened girl who first walked through our doors years ago. She was so excited to tell me about her child and the life they now share together.

Sometimes we may never fully know the impact of a kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present for someone in their hardest moment. But today was a beautiful reminder that love, compassion, and support truly can change lives — not only for a moment, but for generations.

BANQUET UPDATE: Our donors raised a total of $245,496 through our April 16th Fundraising Banquet! We are so thankful for our generous guests and underwriters who partnered with us to provide hope and life-affirming alternatives to abortion. These gifts fund part of the operational costs for our Jackson, Gibson County, and Mobile clinics, as well as our new adoption agency. Praise God! 🙌
