On January 20, the Two Mississippi Museums will mark the National Day of Racial Healing with a panel discussion honoring the life and legacy of Rims and Judy Barber. The MPHA Social Work Section Award, "Judy Barber Social Worker of the Year" is named for this Mrs. Barber. We hope that you can join in.
On Tuesday, January 20, the Two Mississippi Museums will mark the National Day of Racial Healing with a panel discussion on faith and philanthropy, honoring activists Rims and Judy Barber. The program is presented in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Foundation for the Mid South. Admission to the museums is FREE thanks to our sponsor FedEx. Lunch will be provided.
The Two Mississippi Museums will host a reception at 4 p.m. for attendees to share share stories and reflections on the Barbers’ legacy.
