We’re so excited to introduce Emily, a Licensed Professional Counselor now seeing clients at The Healing Academy! 💛

Emily offers individual and couples counseling for teens (14+) and adults. Her gentle, down-to-earth approach helps clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work toward healing and self-discovery.

When she’s not in session, you’ll likely find her traveling to mountain towns, crafting, hitting the gym, or enjoying time with family, friends, and her dogs — always with a hot coffee in hand. ☕🐾

💛 Spreading Kindness, One Candy Bar at a Time 💛

This October, every student at Jackson Middle School and Jackson Junior High School will receive a full-size candy bar — all thanks to one incredible young man with a big heart: Benny.

What started as a small idea has grown into something much bigger. Benny knows that a simple gesture — like a candy bar — can brighten someone’s day and remind them they’re cared for. 🍫✨

The Healing Academy is proud to support Benny’s mission to spread joy and hope throughout our schools and community. His kindness and determination truly show what healing looks like in action.

Healing happens through connection, compassion, and small acts of love — and Benny is leading the way. 🌟

✨ A delayed share, but one still close to our hearts ✨
On August 15–16, The Healing Academy was represented at Music for the Mind by one of our amazing LPCs, Alissa. 🎶💙

This powerful event brought people together through music and community while shining a light on the importance of mental health. We’re still coming down from the feels of such a meaningful experience, and it’s one we didn’t want to miss sharing.

Alissa had the opportunity to share about the work we do at The Healing Academy and connect with others who are equally passionate about mental health awareness. The impact of Music for the Mind continues to inspire us, and we are so grateful to have been a part of it. 💫
