St. John’s Health welcomed the First Baby of 2026 on January 2nd at 11:10am. Born to Kelsey Mitchell and James Varn of Driggs, new baby Connor will be welcomed home by his brother Rowan Varn. The family was presented with a gift basket from the St. John’s Health Foundation.

Connor weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches in length. He was delivered under the care of Dr. Lofaro with Mary, RNC, and the team from Paintbrush Pediatrics. Also present at the delivery were Laura, RNC, and Brynn, CNA. Connor was admitted by Leah, RN, and Beth, RN.
