When you can walk through your yard and make a medicinal bouquet, you start to look at the land differently.
Purple dead nettle.
Henbit.
Dandelion.
Plants most people spray, pull up, or call weeds…
but they’ve been used for generations in herbal traditions.
Purple dead nettle – known for its anti-inflammatory properties and traditionally used to support allergies, wounds, and overall immune support.
Henbit – a gentle edible herb rich in antioxidants and nutrients, often used historically as a spring tonic after winter.
Dandelion – one of the most nutrient-dense plants in the yard, supporting digestion, liver function, and natural detox pathways. Packed with vitamins A, C, K and minerals like iron and potassium.
Some people see weeds…
I see medicine growing where our feet already walk.
Sometimes the medicine we need is already outside our door.
Getting back to our ROOTS one herb at a time.
Nature is our farmacy.
