We’re excited to announce that, along with several community partners, we’ll be offering Lung Cancer Screenings again this year!

🗓 Saturday, November 8th

📍 West TN Imaging Center

To qualify, participants must:

Be ages 50–77
Have a 20 pack-year smoking history (1 pack/day for 20 years, 2 packs/day for 10 years, etc.)
Be a current smoker or have quit within the last 15 years

Last Thursday night, we had the honor of hosting a very special check presentation at Kirkland Cancer Center for the Swinging Fore Hope Golf Tournament, where we were presented with an incredible $250,000 check!

This tournament, led with passion and purpose by Ann-Marie Kelley, has raised over half a million dollars in just three years — an absolutely amazing accomplishment! Every single dollar goes directly to the Patient Needs Fund at Kirkland Cancer Center, helping patients with essentials like food insecurities, transportation, medications, utilities, and so much more.

Ann-Marie’s vision, leadership, and heart for this mission have truly transformed lives. She pours her time, energy, and love into this tournament year after year — rallying an entire community to come together in support of those facing cancer. Her dedication reminds us what compassion and determination can achieve. 💗

Ann-Marie, we cannot thank you enough for all that you and your incredible team do to make this possible. You are a light of hope and a true blessing to Kirkland Cancer Center and to every patient whose life is touched by your generosity. 💕

Help us welcome our newest Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Craig Collie!

Dr. Collie is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist with over two decades of experience providing expert, compassionate cancer care. He previously served at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Dickson, TN and held roles at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, where he was also an Instructor of Oncology.

With a strong background in both clinical care and education, Dr. Collie brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and dedication to his patients.

We are proud to welcome him to the Kirkland Cancer Center team and look forward to the impact he will make for our patients and families! 💙

Help us welcome our newest Nurse Practitioner, Kandi Wise! 💙

Kandi was born and raised in Lexington, TN, and her nursing journey began at the Tennessee College of Applied Sciences where she earned her LPN. She went on to complete her Associate’s Degree in Nursing at Jackson State Community College and became a Registered Nurse.

Her passion for oncology and palliative care began while working at Jackson General Hospital on the oncology/palliative care unit — a role where she knew God had placed her to make a difference. In 2018, she joined Kirkland Cancer Center, where that passion grew even stronger. While working, Kandi furthered her education by earning her Bachelor’s and then her Nurse Practitioner degree from Austin Peay State University, achieving her goal of becoming an NP.

Outside of work, Kandi is a proud mom of five! She and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and exploring new places with their family.

We are so excited to have Kandi in this new role, caring for our patients with oncology and hematology needs.

Help us congratulate Abby Mays on her incredible accomplishment! 🎉

Abby is now a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition . She recently passed the exam for registered dietitians who work directly with individuals at risk for, or diagnosed with, malignant or pre-malignant conditions in a variety of settings.

This achievement makes Abby 1 of only 16 in the entire state of Tennessee — an impressive distinction! We are so blessed to have her on our team.

Help us congratulate our October Employee of the Month, Aprille Roberts. Aprille is the Clinical Records Specialist in RO and is such a ray of sunshine. She always knows how to put the biggest smiles on everyone's faces!

"Aprille specifically embodies the mission of the KCC by always putting the patient and their needs first. She creates a positive atmosphere at the Rad Onc front desk. The moment a patient arrives she greets them by name and acknowledges their presence not only professionally but as a genuine friend. So many former patients come back to visit Aprille and praise her for getting them through their difficult treatments rather it be from prayer, positive infectious attitude or other genuine acts of kindness. Aprille ensures that that every patient feels that they have a purpose and that they matter. I believe that her attitude effects both employees and patients alike, creating a positive atmosphere to come to work and strive for excellence."
