Please help us welcome Amanda Johnson to the KCC family! 🎉💙
Amanda is joining Kirkland Cancer Center as our new GI Cancer Nurse Navigator in the Support Services Department, and we are so excited to have her on our team! Amanda is always wearing the biggest smile and is such a joy to be around. Her compassion, experience, and heart for patients will make such a difference in the lives of those we serve.
Amanda began her nursing career in 1999 in Mississippi after earning her associate degree in nursing. After moving to West Tennessee in 2004, she continued growing her career and later received her MSN in Nursing Education in 2021. Throughout her career, Amanda has worked in many areas including medical-surgical nursing, OB-GYN, pre-operative and post-operative care, ICU, 15 years as a physician extender in interventional cardiology, and most recently as the Interventional Radiology Biopsy Coordinator at West Tennessee Healthcare for the past 2½ years.
Amanda lives in Gibson County with her husband of 29 years and is a proud mom of three adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, flowers, being outdoors, going to the gym, anything coffee, antique stores, and crocheting. ☕🌸
We are so thankful Amanda is part of the KCC family — be sure to give her a warm welcome! 💙
