Hannah Alfonso, a pediatric oncology nurse care coordinator, fell in love with work at the Children’s of Mississippi Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders during a rotation in nursing school. Now, she works closely with families and staff to streamline treatment, scheduling necessary scans and tests. She also helps educate patients and families on their diagnosis and treatment plan, then works to be sure that family’s treatment needs are met, and questions and concerns are addressed.

Join us in congratulating Dr. Anderson Collier as the recipient of the Dr. Jeanette Pullen Chair of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology! We are so thankful for Dr. Collier's ambition to expand the work Dr. Pullen began. We look forward to Dr. Collier's continued leadership as we move into the new generation of care for our hematology and oncology patients!

We got such a sweet surprise from Carson Wallace and his mom. Carson was recently admitted to 3C for a few weeks and passed the time by making the nurses candy wreaths! 🎗🎃
