One teaspoon of honey is the result of remarkable teamwork and effort in the bee world. To make it, twelve bees spend their entire lives collecting nectar from hundreds of flowers. Each bee flies back and forth many times, covering a combined distance of more than fifty thousand miles, which is more than twice around the Earth. This nectar is brought back to the hive where it is processed, evaporated and transformed into the golden honey we enjoy. It is a tiny spoonful with a story of immense dedication, cooperation and natureβs precision.
