May is EDS & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder awareness month. To start off the month I will be speaking again for the Ehlers-Danlos Support Group of Jacksonville tomorrow, Saturday May 4th, 1pm at the Jacksonville Public Library - Southeast Regional Library Branch 10599 Deerwood Park Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. It’s a hybrid event. If you or anyone you know is struggling with chronic pain, this may be a good event for you!
Warmly inviting you to join the Ehlers-Danlos Support Group of Jacksonville for the monthly hybrid support group on Saturday, May 4th at 1pm as we welcome the start of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders Awareness Month.
We're thrilled to have Jamie Bomtempo an experienced Occupational Therapist who has experience in a diverse range of settings ranging from outpatient community mental health to the acute hospital setting.
Jamie holds degrees from DePaul University and Chicago State University in Psychology and Occupational Therapy, respectively. She has advanced training in Pelvic Floor Biofeedback, John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, and has taken extensive continuing education for the treatment of incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic dysfunction. She also has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
Our monthly EDS support group meeting is a hybrid event held on the first Saturday of every month at 1pm.
We meet at the Jacksonville Public Library - Southeast Regional Library Branch 10599 Deerwood Park Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Please ask a librarian to direct you to the meeting room for the Ehlers Danlos Support Group.
