Nicole Story, Psychotherapist & Clinical Director

Hi, I am Nicole Story, Clinical Director of Oceanside Family Therapy & Assessments. As an immigrant from Northern Ireland and a local litigation attorney's wife, I am very familiar with the immigration process and the unique experiences and stressors of those applying for visas/hardship/asylum. Dually licensed and a supervisor for both LMFT/LMHC with 20 years of experience, I offer psychometric evaluations in English or Spanish. With advanced training and experience in family systems and relations (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) and mental health (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) from the University of Florida and clinical settings, I have worked with all ages of clients - infant through late adulthood.

As a clinical supervisor of many non-profit, military and private practice clinicians, I have also worked with people from all walks of life and backgrounds and am well versed in family therapy and children's mental health. I served as President of the NE Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Ethics Chair of the board of the State Chapter, Clinical Director of a residential treatment facility for teens, and have been testifying in Federal, State and Immigration Court for over 15 years. Working with immigration attorneys from California to New York to Miami, Florida I have been providing evaluations and court reports for Extreme Hardship, Political Asylum, Domestic Violence/Spousal Abuse, VAWA, and I-130 Petitions, etc. for 15 years. I am also very experienced in assessing children including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Trauma and PTSD.
