I completed another course with the Walsh Research Institute today. I’m genuinely grateful to have found this work and to continue implementing it in my practice.
What caught my attention years ago still resonates: similar symptoms don’t always mean the same underlying cause. In areas like depression, different biochemical patterns can require very different nutrient support—or, at times, avoiding nutrients that may be detrimental for that individual presentation.
I’m also continually struck by the potential for improvement in children with significant behavioral challenges—especially when they are evaluated and supported early. Early really matters, as it can offer a better chance for more lasting change.
Dr. Walsh’s more recent work in bipolar disorder is also noteworthy and may have meaningful implications when addressed early, particularly in individuals with a strong family history.
This work continues to deepen and remains one of the most remarkable parts of my medical career.
