Going to therapy can be an opportunity to reflect on life’s many ups and downs. Talking about the rough times can help you see how you’ve shown strength in ways you wouldn’t have considered. Processing the present and setting up goals for the future are areas where you and your therapist can explore, too. As we approach the new year, it can be helpful to give yourself a reset and reflect with your therapist on the things that worked and the things you’d like to pivot from in 2026.
