Why relationships feel harder when stress is high.

Stress changes how people relate.

Under stress, nervous systems default to protection:
• defensiveness
• withdrawal
• irritability
• emotional distance

Trauma-informed individual therapy helps you notice these patterns and respond differently with awareness, skill, and care.
Therapy focuses on understanding how your nervous system responds to stress and experience.

Now accepting new clients.

Our Story

Anxiety and depression can get in the way of living the life you want. Learning the skills to make your life worth living is where I can help. We are a team of clinicians intensively trained and utilizing DBT and CBT to change our clients way of thinking, hence changing their lives. Bringing empathy and acceptance to promote change, supporting you, teaching skills to foster happiness. Acceptance and nonjudgemental is the path towards more joy. Specializing in BPD & OCD spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, child behavioral issues, ADHD, parent training ALL things relating to TEENS and change of life disorders.

Mindfulness is the common theme that runs through all the treatment modalities we use here at Beaches Therapy. We will guide you to not make it worse, accept there is no such thing as perfect and to sit with the belief that it truly is what it is. The sooner we stop fighting against our realities the sooner we start to live a more joyful existence. Seriously, it works.
