BS. That kind of pain CAN be transcended...given the right environment. That said, it would be hard to put into words how devastating it has been. Some of my favorite people didn't just abandon me, they turned on me with the wrath of someone endangering their family. It's hard to convey how much that betrayal hurts, but I know that in expressing it, the words come & in the writing of them, another step towards the alchemy of relief is made...The system WANTS you to suffer forever to make you easy to bait. True defiance is to walk through that pain...word by word...

Ignored Feedback: Why Modern Society Suppresses Pain

📍 📍 We've been taught to ignore the most Important Information: the feedback we get from our own Nervous System. We've been taught to deny it. We've been taught to give it drugs. We've been taught to suppress it. This is the thing: most people haven't been independent enough in their thinking to realize this is a problem! If you want to stress less, and have less chronic pain, you have to tune IN, not tune OUT.

Pain is a feedback loop that the system doesn't want you to pay attention to. They want you to cover it up using some kind of a product, medication or surgery. It's all about the bottom line. So how could you learn to respond? It requires neurological reeducation: refining skills you have innately.
