It's mid-July, let’s not forget: UV safety matters — all year long.
Whether you're training for the Turkey Trot or just enjoying the outdoors, protecting your skin is essential.

Why it matters:
UV rays can damage skin cells even on cloudy days or in cooler weather
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., and most cases are linked to UV exposure.

So lather on that sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and don’t forget your sunglasses and hat. Your future self will thank you! ☀️

No parent is ever prepared for the moment their child is seriously injured. For Corey and Sharlyne Sidlo, that moment came when their son, Milo, suffered a traumatic head injury during a high school soccer game.

Thanks to the quick action of his coach and athletic trainer, Milo was rushed to one of UF Health Jacksonville’s ER & Urgent Care Centers then transferred to TraumaOne, where he received the life-saving care he urgently needed.

Today, Milo is fully recovered and his parents are forever grateful.

There are many stories like Milo’s. Please consider a donation of any size to help ensure UF Health Jacksonville continues offering exceptional care that makes recoveries possible. Your gift can help ensure more families get that same peace of mind, knowing world-class care is available when it matters most.
