Life Tree Women Care

Life Tree Women Care Life Tree Women Care Inc. offers culturally competent and safe care to every patient.

As many women have never seen a medical provider that is of the same ethnicity (which adds to the lack of connection), Life Tree Women Care ensures a staff that is of diverse ethnicities to increase connection and inclusion. The clinic’s location was specifically chosen as a place accessible to those relying on public transportation. Life Tree Women Care collaborates with other medical providers and community services to bring balance and maintenance to healthy lives for all. The goal is to impact the trust the community has for the medical profession in a positive way.

“Too many women on the Westside lack access to effective and affordable care,” explained Co-Founder Jamie Neal, ARNP. “We want to change that while prioritizing healthcare services for all women with both quality and cultural competence."

PrEP is something more people are hearing about, but not everyone knows what it really is.

PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis and refers to medications used to help prevent HIV before potential exposure.

It may be a good option if you have multiple partners or are unsure of a partner’s health history, and talking with your provider can help you decide if it fits your lifestyle and risk level.

If your little one made their debut with Jamie and our team, we would love to see them now.

Caring for you during pregnancy is just the beginning, and getting to watch these babies grow is such a special part of what we do. Seeing their personalities start to shine is something we always look forward to.

A day at a theme park while pregnant can still be fun with a little extra planning.

Long days on your feet, heat, and crowds can take a toll, so thinking ahead about comfort, breaks, and hydration makes a big difference. Knowing your limits and choosing activities that feel safe for your body helps you enjoy the experience without overdoing it.

What you eat could be affecting more than just your weight.

In your 40s, blood sugar swings and nutrient gaps can quietly impact your hormones, energy, and mood. Small changes to your daily meals can help your body feel more balanced and supported.

It’s often one of the simplest places to start when something feels off.

Strong partnerships create real opportunities.

Yesterday, our Community Outreach & Office Manager, Lauren, spent time with the Job Corps program directors here in Jacksonville. She toured the campus, met with students, and learned more about their Medical Assistant program.

We’re excited to partner with them to offer externship opportunities for their students.

Pictured here with Lauren, Dr. Thomas, Director of Medical Programs, and Mrs. Massey, Work-Based Learning Coordinator, are helping lead the way in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Life Tree Babies Friday! 💜

No two pregnancies are the same… so why should the care be?

Every expectant mom deserves support that’s built around her, not just based on averages or statistics. That’s exactly how our team approaches care, walking with you from pregnancy through delivery in a way that actually fits you.

(And Life Tree moms, remember to message us your baby photos!)

Heartburn is one of those pregnancy symptoms that shows up often… and sticks around longer than you’d like. But you don’t have to just live with the discomfort.

A few small shifts can make a noticeable difference, like spacing out meals, avoiding foods that trigger symptoms, and giving your body time to digest before lying down.

It may take a little trial and error, but relief is possible.

Out in the community and doing what we love most, showing up and supporting others.

Today, Lauren (Community Outreach & Office Manager) and Maurissa (MA Supervisor) spent time with CRC helping provide HIV testing and prevention resources. It's all about making care accessible, building trust, and being a resource beyond our office walls.

Grateful for opportunities like this to connect, educate, and support our community.

If you are trying to conceive, small changes can make a real difference.

Fertility is influenced by everyday habits like nutrition, weight, stress, and overall health, more than many people realize.

Being intentional about how you care for your body and understanding your cycle can help support your chances of conception in a natural, manageable way.
