Life Tree Women Care

Life Tree Women Care Life Tree Women Care Inc. offers culturally competent and safe care to every patient.

As many women have never seen a medical provider that is of the same ethnicity (which adds to the lack of connection), Life Tree Women Care ensures a staff that is of diverse ethnicities to increase connection and inclusion. The clinic’s location was specifically chosen as a place accessible to those relying on public transportation. Life Tree Women Care collaborates with other medical providers

and community services to bring balance and maintenance to healthy lives for all. The goal is to impact the trust the community has for the medical profession in a positive way.

“Too many women on the Westside lack access to effective and affordable care,” explained Co-Founder Jamie Neal, ARNP. “We want to change that while prioritizing healthcare services for all women with both quality and cultural competence."

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are a group of mental health conditions that can affect women during pregnancy and after childbirth. They can include:

👉🏾 Anxiety
👉🏾 Depression
👉🏾 Panic disorder
👉🏾 OCD
👉🏾 PTSD
👉🏾 Other emotional or mood-related challenges

PMADs affect about 1 in 5 women during pregnancy and through the first year postpartum, yet many cases still go untreated. Support matters, and no woman should feel like she has to navigate these experiences alone.

A previous C-section doesn’t always mean you have to have another one.

Whether someone is a good candidate for a VBAC depends on several factors, including their medical history and the details of their previous delivery. Having this conversation early in pregnancy gives you time to understand the benefits, risks, and what kind of birth plan may be safest for you and your baby.

Feeling a little run-down after a vaccine doesn’t mean the shot made you sick.

Mild symptoms after a vaccine are often a sign that your immune system is responding the way it’s supposed to. Your body is learning how to recognize and fight the virus more effectively if you’re exposed to it in the future.

From exhaustion to food aversions to feeling overwhelmed by everyday smells, these experiences are more common than many women realize. Throughout it all, you deserve support, understanding, and care.

PCOS has a new name: PMOS, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

This change helps reflect what so many women already know: this condition is not “just about cysts.” It can affect hormones, metabolism, skin, mental health, and reproductive health.

If your symptoms have been dismissed or misunderstood, you deserve care that listens.

Hormone therapy doesn’t work overnight, and the timeline can look different for everyone.

Some symptoms, like hot flashes, may start improving within a few weeks, while things like vaginal dryness, painful in*******se, and bone health support can take several months or longer. Your response depends on your body, your symptoms, and the type of hormone therapy you are using.
