The Resolution Center is hosting a workshop retreat!
The weekend of May 17 - 19, 2024 is the set date and the location will be Hanna Park in Jacksonville, FL. The opportunities are for individuals and families to come and participate in activities that will enhance coping and communication skills with the goal of improving relationships!
We are inviting you to participate in one or all of the workshops being offered!
The workshops will be divided into the following segments:
Friday
5:00pm - 8:00pm
Ladies Bonfire
For ladies who are single and navigating life after divorce and the pain/fears/rejection that go with it. We are burning our bridge to the past! This will be Christian friendly discussions.
Saturday
11:00am- 4:00pm
Kids and Teens
We will be facilitating discussions and activities to help kids express the emotional and psychological effects of family conflict and divorce. The participants will be divided into smaller groups dependent upon the number of kids and ages. The small groups will be determined closer to the event. The goals are to enhance communication and coping mechanisms and increase the internal emotional regulation skills.
Saturday
4:00pm-7:00pm
Adults: Grinding the Root of Rejection
Navigating the emotional dysregulation and trauma based maladaptive coping mechanisms. Learning why we do what we do (Enneagram type, Attachment theory, etc) Letting go of the trauma, different coping and releasing mechanisms available (TRE, ART, information) Activity to transform mindsets and thinking.
Sunday
10:00am-6:00pm
FAMILY DAY
Rotation of activities designed to strengthen familial bonds and/or reunify Theme is "The AMAZING RACE" - the theme for the whole day and the activities are just a part of the race.
